Weapons, wine discovered in Lusignan Prison
Police and Prison Officers conducted a two-hour search of Holding Bays 1, 2 and 3 of the Lusignan Prison, East Coast Demerara and found prohibited items.

Among the items discovered were 44 improvised weapons, eight chargers, three bottles wine, six lighters, three cellular phones, one pack bamboo , two cell phones batteries, one phone display, $40, one smoking utensil, 11 razor blades and 20 nails.
