Yesterday dem boys sit down and think about all de promises people mek to dem and didn’t keep. Dem remember de elections promise de APNU-KFC mek and when dem check was like if dem promise gone wid de wind.
This odda promise wasn’t an elections promise but was a promise that Cathy mek big and bold. Jagdeo had serious problems wid GTT. He try to tek away dem control of de landline because dem had it for too long and dem wasn’t servicing people telephone fast enough.
Jagdeo think he was a big man and he put a Bill in Parliament. Dem boys seh that was de first Bill that Jagdeo put down like if it hot. He didn’t even look at it again. When dem boys check, dem hear Uncle Sam tell Jagdeo that he better don’t put he hand pun GTT.
Like a puppy, Jagdeo put he tail between he foot and lef de telephone company. That is when Cathy talk up fat. She announce how she gun break de monopoly this year. When she seh suh, dem boys believe she.
Right away Digicel mek plans. It get careless wid de hustle it use to do through Suriname and de cable get pull. But because Cathy announce that de monopoly gun end this year, Digicel didn’t care. Now it shifting uncomfortable like when a big man sit down pun ants nest. De monopoly ain’t look like it going anywhere.
Dem boys looking fuh Cathy to find out wha happen and dem can’t find she. De GTT people seh dem don’t know nutten bout any breaking of monopoly fuh de New Year. Now people wondering if dem should listen to any promise.
Jagdeo did promise de Skeldon sugar factory would a solve all of GuySuCo needs. De factory barely mill 20 pounds of sugar but de amount of cane it use woulda produce 200 pounds. And that is only one promise.
Talk half and beware of who come to you wid promise.
