DCC, International SOS Unveil Fruitful Partnership
The Demerara Cricket Club and International SOS have teamed up to aid in the development of the younger players at the club through sport and health. This scheme allows the Club to benefit from cricket gears, outfits and health seminars.
Club President Roger Harper expressed delight about the venture and is optimistic that this new development will enhance the talent of the youths. International SOS is one of the world’s leading medical and security assistance companies.
They are in the business of saving and protecting lives from more than 1,000 locations in 90 countries. 11, 000 employees, led by 5,200 medical professionals’ service multinational companies, governments and NGOs globally. The sponsorship is worth $500,000 and the club is the first from Guyana to benefit from such a package.
