Ramps Logistics in collaboration with Eldorado Offshore and other related companies yesterday launched a Christmas Carnival.
The Christmas Carnival afforded children from three orphanages across Georgetown the opportunity to feel the Christmas spirit.
The children were greeted with warm smiles by staffers, lots to eat and drink, fun games and a chance to win multiple prizes along with gifts.
Present at the Christmas Carnival were children, some 200 of them, from the Joshua House Children Centre, Bless the Children Home and St. John Bosco Boys’ Orphanage.
Jeanna Pearson, Human Resources Assistant, stated that the Christmas Carnival is the company’s way of giving back to Guyana.
She said that the event was jointly brought to reality with the help of National Hardware and Royal Castle who provided snacks for the children. .
Pearson also expressed the organization’s hope to make the Christmas Carnival for children an annual event.
“We are hoping to integrate this children’s party as a part of our annual event to give back to our country” she stated.
