As the Christmas season is fast approaching National Hardware began ushering in the Christmas spirit with a Christmas light up.
The event which was held outside of National Hardware Water Street branch began at 17:00hrs. The programme consisted of singing, gift sharing and the lighting up of the Christmas tree.
Kaieteur News spoke with the Public Relations Officer, Arvin Sukhram, who stated that this is just the start to their events to usher in the Christmas season. “As our way of bringing in the season we hosted this light up, throughout the month of December we will have major promotions on tools, hardware and household appliances.”
He went on to say that currently they have the ‘Black Friday’ sales which will be running throughout the weekend until ‘Cyber Monday’.
According to Mr Bynoe, the director of National Hardware, “This is just the beginning of us giving back to the community. We will be hosting another light up on December 17.
“It will be much bigger than this, more sharing of gifts and we would like to encourage other business entities to come on board in giving back to our neighbourhoods.”
