The National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), yesterday, opened several tenders for a plethora of projects, one being the construction of the second phase of the Tabatinga Bridge. The tender, which saw five bidders, was opened for the Ministry of Communities, with bids above and below the engineer’s estimate.

Tenders were also tabled for the construction of a perimeter fence at the Mocha/ Arcadia Community Centre Ground. This is just one of the two projects, which were tabled by the Ministry of Communities.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of the Presidency is looking to procure a new vehicle; three bids were received, all under ten million dollars.![]()
The Ministry of Agriculture’s Fisheries Department is looking for companies to provide security services for its Anna Regina Fish Culture Station in Region Two and at the Satyadeow Sawh Aquaculture Station, Mon Repos East Coast Demerara.

In addition, the Guyana Elections Commission is seeking the services of companies for the supply and delivery of one server.

Two bidders have expressed interest for the rental of office buildings by the Ministry of Legal Affairs.

The Ministry of Natural Resources is seeking designing and implementing services for REDD+ Pilot activities for Guyana. The initiative, which was drafted earlier this year, aims to maintain the country’s low rate of deforestation and forest degradation.

The Guyana Revenue Authority is also seeking to procure consultative services for the delivery and implementation of modern tax administration software.
