Five arrested on E’bo Coast following operation restore order

Five persons were arrested yesterday following a Cordon and search, which was conducted by police in the Onderneeming Sand Pit area and Pomona on the Essequibo Coast.
The three hour search was done by a party of police, in which a total of five houses were searched. Of the five persons, four were arrested for Breaking and entering and larceny. The search resulted in the arrest of Ron Norton, a 35 years old electrician who lives at Lot 8 Onderneeming Sand Pit Essequibo Coast.
Hussein, also Called ‘Egg man’ was arrested. Hussein is a 22-year-old labourer who lives at Lot 28 Middlesex Essequibo Coast. The search also led to the arrest of 19-year-old Mahase Persaud, a labourer of lot 106 Pomona Essequibo Coast. The fourth person arrested was Nazir Hussain, a 20-year-old labourer of lot 28 Middlesex Essequibo Coast.
Delon Adonis, a 24 years old labourer of lot 21/22 Pomona Essequibo Coast was charged for the possession of narcotics. During the operation, Delon Adonis was searched and six grams of suspected cannabis was found in his right side pants pocket.
