Imam Bacchus SC to tour Suriname
Imam Bacchus Sports Club of Affiance, Essequibo Coast has embarked on a tour to neighbouring Suriname where they will take on Amarshakti Sports Club of Paramaribo in a series of T/20 games starting today. The team includes former national youth players Yougeshwar Lall, Latchman Rohit, Parmesh Parsotam and Nathan Persaud.
With the absence of Wayne Osborne, Kulraj Persaud and Punraj Singh due to work commitments the bowling department comprises of all-rounders Ganesh Mangal, Navendra Persaud, Rodwin Gordon and Parmeshwar Persaud, fast Bowlers Neiland Cadogan and Lallbachan Narine.
The full squad reads; 1. Yougeshwar Lall, 2. Latchman Rohit, 3. Parmesh Parsotam, 4. Nathan Persaud, 5. Parmeshwar Persaud, 6. Ganesh Mangal, 7. Neiland Cadogan, 8. Navendra Persaud, 9. Mohendra Balbadar, 10. Lallbachan Narine, 11. Rodwin Gordon, 12. Mohindar Persaud and 13. Zaman Ally. The manager is Sam Bacchus and Coach is Boyzie Balbadar. Tour Manager – Rohan Budhram.
