The Transport and Harbours Department (T&HD) through The National Procurement and Tender Administration Board yesterday received bids for the rehabilitation of the Bartica Ferry Stelling.
The bids ranged from $518M to $885M.
While some companies managed to come in below the Engineer’s estimate, some flew above and beyond as can be seen below:
Hinterland Electrification Company Incorporated also received tenders for the Supply and Installation of Transmission Line Lattice Towers for Port Kaituma Network River Crossing Region 1
Those tenders received were:
The Guyana Revenue Authority meanwhile opened tenders for the Rehabilitation of Building-Office for Oil and Gas
And for the Construction of Licence Revenue Office Lodgement Area
The Ministry of Education received tenders for the Supply and Delivery of Dietary Supplies (Dry and Fresh Ration) to a number of learning institution. These were:
Dora Secondary School
Kuru Kuru Primary School
Essequibo Technical Institute Dormitory
President’s College
The Ministry of the Presidency received Tenders for the Replacing of Roof Cladding to the Museum of Anthropology and for the Procurement of One New Motor Vehicle.
These were received as follows

The Ministry of Communities retendered for two projects; Consultancy for The Study for The Reuse and Recycling of Coconut Waste and the Rehabilitation of Camp Street Office. The tenders received for these projects were:

The Guyana Lands and Survey Commission meanwhile received a single tender for the Supply of Network Attached Storage Drives:
The Ministry of Social Protection received the following Expressions of Interest for the Consultancy for Training of Co-operative Societies:
The Ministry also received tenders for procurement for two lots; Lot 1 being Kitchen Equipment and Lot 2 being Medical Equipment and Furniture:
The Ministry of Public Security received a number of tenders for various projects and procurements, these were:
Procurement of Field Materials, Electrical and Equipment Maintenance Materials lot 1-3 GPF
Procurement of Uniform Materials, Guyana Fire Service
Selection of Consultants/Firm for the Design and Supervision Services for the Construction of New Madhia Living Quarters Phase 2 (Technical Proposals)
Selection of Consultants/Firm for the Design and Supervision Services for the Construction of Stables, Lethem Police Station
Selection of Consultants/Firm for the Design and Supervision Services for the Rehabilitation of Police Stations in Region 1
Selection of Consultants/Firm for the Design and Supervision Services for the Construction of Police Stations in Region 4
Finally, The Ministry of Public Infrastructure through the NPTAB received tenders for the Construction of Sea Defences Structures within Regions No. 2 to 6
The project spans 12 lots.
