The PPP continues to libel me

Dear Editor,

The PPP has been libelling me on Social Media. Please permit me the opportunity of correcting the lies being peddled to defame my person. I would also show how pettiness prevented development in the agricultural sector by no other than the Ex President Bharrat Jagdeo.
I was employed as Personal Assistant to the President. In 2007 I met the CEO of a company who expressed an Interest in setting up a 300 Million dollar modern cargo facility at CJIA..
President Jagdeo told me not to delay but to expedite the project by working with the investor and GOINVEST.
There were a number of meetings with GOINVEST. During this time the president indicated to me that he received some negative information regarding the company, including that it had a little trucking service in NY City.
I decided to investigate and obtained a report from the Guyana High Commission regarding the company’s operations at JFK inclusive of the contract that the company had with JFK airport in NY City. This refuted the information the then President had received.
At a final meeting GOINVEST had organized with the CEO of the company it was agreed that the company would build the facility on a build, own, operate and transfer basis. This entailed not a single dollar in expenditure by the Guyana Government. In fact I negotiated for the company to place 100,000 USD (one hundred thousand US dollars) in an escrow account to demonstrate its commitment.
GOINVEST informed me that the only thing that remained was for the identification of the land and this was in the hands of the president.
I visited CJIA and we identified a spot that was not too far away from where Laparkan has its operations.
Later I wrote an internal Memo to the president which included the JFK contract. A few days later I was informed that the President wanted to see me. I went to his office. Dr. Luncheon, the HPS was there.
The President was angry. He told me that he had instructed me to stop the project. I told him, no! Then he indicated to me some negatives that he heard about the project. I told him that the memo to him had explanations. He said to me that the man had a little trucking service and I indicated to him that I had enclosed a copy of the contract the company had with JFK Authorities and a report from the High Commission in NY.
He then angrily asked who gave me permission to speak to the High Commission and I responded saying that I was his Personal Assistant and that I wrote to Foreign Affairs requesting a report.
He asked me who he must believe. He then told me he was going to terminate my services, that he does not need a Personal Assistant but instead he told DR. Luncheon to find another work for me.
The point is, how could he have told me to stop the project when GOINVEST continued to develop the Project? Why would he even think of terminating me on the basis of an internal memo meant for his eyes alone?
We lost a very important project that would have seen the transformation of agriculture and tremendous benefits to the Farmers.
Years later I went to NY and the owner CEO of the said company drove me to JFK. He pressed the remote and the entrance to his establishment opened. We drove in and he closed the door then he again pressed the remote and the other door opened and in front of me was the tarmac of JFK. He then closed it. Apparently he had security clearance of a very high order.
In fact planes would come to his facility, be loaded and then take off for multi destination.
I was transferred to the Ministry of Labour. I was Adviser to the Minister. I have Emails to show the Minister was pleased with my work. Six months later I was asked by Michael Carrington to be on the AFC TV programme. We were going to discuss taxation and the need to have a more progressive tax regime where a family can put in for allowance for children.
By this time I was frustrated and sickened by the corruption within the PPP government. I did not really want to continue being a part of the government. Michael Carrington told me that I would be fired but I did not care as I had enough. On the programme I criticized the corruption and the growing gap between the rich and the poor.
On July 1st 2009 I reported to work. I was having normal discussions with the Minister re the days work and then I exited his office. The PS met me and told me that the Office of the President had instructed him to terminate me.
They even refused to give me basic benefits owed to me.
Two years later because I joined the AFC the PPPites commenced to libel me. They accused me of stealing 5m then 10 then 15 million and recently it went to 20m of flood money re flood of 2005 and as a consequence my services was terminated.
The reality is that my three-year contract with OP was signed in March of 2006. They ignored a basic chronological detail, ie, the flood was in 2005 and my contract was signed in March 2006. But that is what the PPP has become.
They did not stop there they commenced all types of attacks on me and my wife and this continues to today. I cannot even mention here the type of accusations.
I will state a recent one though they accuse my wife of collecting draw back from GWI contracts. However, my wife has no connection to any government agency. This represents the deterioration of the PPP and its leadership
