DEAR EDITOR,
I recently returned from vacation with my family and it was not an easy task to defend my country. The people to the north are very much happy that Guyana discovered oil, but they are saying that the contract signed is bad in law, and secondly, our country does not have enough security.
I am making my humble request to our President, Mr. David Granger, who is no stranger to security, to please revisit your local and international experts on oil and security, so that in the near future, the oil contract can be amended and the standard of our security can vastly improve, with less talk from foreign shores.
On closing, I wish to commend Fly Jamaica flight and cabin crews for a professional service, bringing home a plane loaded with summer visitors. The Immigration, Customs and Handling Services were smooth at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport – Timehri. Thank you.
Yours Faithfully
Parmanand Ram
