Dear Editor,
This is not a letter to speak ill about a visionless President who appears most qualified to cut ribbons, give out medals, build arches, paint things green, order Commissions of Inquiry, give meaningless speeches, feign ignorance and or speak in deafening silence on matters of corruption that point to members of the APNU/AFC.
This is not about a President whose incompetence is noticeable in areas where it appears to be rocket science to select persons for the Public Service Commission, or confirmation of the Commissioner of Police or confirmation of the Chancellor of the Judiciary and the Chief Justice even though these legal luminaries have written judgments that resonate with poetic enchantment.
This is a letter about the arrogant and visionless Bharrat Jagdeo who feels that his grandparents gave him the title and or transport to the Republic of Guyana and to the People’s Progressive Party.
It’s ironic that Jagdeo speaks of Charles Ramson as being inexperienced because of youth, since Jagdeo became the President of Guyana at the age of 35 when he was given, not elected the leader of the PPP. Under Jagdeo’s poor leadership in selecting his puppets, the PPP has failed miserably in the last two general elections.
Jagdeo is a narcissist, a bully and he is the wrong choice to be the main voice for the PPP. Who else but a narcissist would feel that every week, citizens want to watch or listen to his toothless poodle, fox and the grapes grumblings where his view is the only view?
Jagdeo recently displayed pettiness, a gross lack of maturity and leadership qualities in his public condemnation about Charles Ramson.
I think that the PPP should support Attorney Charles Ramson as he does not have any baggage of corruption, pending criminal matters, or a history of cussing any ambassador or threats to slap anyone.
In spite of his youth, Ramson is knowledgeable, confident and better able to attract an electorate who are fed up of old politics and complaining of yesteryear as we cannot relate.
Additionally, Charles Ramson is the most qualified member of the PPP and one of the most qualified Guyanese as it relates to being knowledgeable in the area of oil and gas sector and this area will dominate the planning and economics of Guyana.
This generation is interested in a prosperous reality for tomorrow in a Guyana that is devoid of racism, nepotism, cuss down politics, corruption and muzzled democracy but full of hope and aspirations.
