PRBG hold Inter-Gym Boxing card in Wismar
The Pocket Rocket Boxing Gym will be holding its first fight night in the Mining Town of Linden on Friday June 29 after Coach Orland ‘Pocket Rocket’ Rogers was appointed Hinterland Boxing Coach.
Coach Rogers will host an Inter Gym competition and those in the Community are being encouraged to come out to witness Boxing Gyms from around Guyana battle for supremacy.
The FYF Gym, Essequibo Gym, the Republican, Pocket Rocket and Rose Hall Town and the return of Harpy Eagles Gym from Berbice is expected to produce an exciting event.
Eight fightsare carded for the night including two female fights and Coach Rogers thanked Washington Transportation and Water service, Former Mayor of Linden Carwyn Holland and Town Councillors, Roger Hinds Gas Station, Mr Samuel Wright and the GBA for their support.
Coach Rogers said more sponsorship is still required to make the Event a resounding success.
