DEAR EDITOR,
The August school holidays are fast approaching and the Ministry of Education in collaboration with government agencies, usually would have work study programmes for students of Community High and Secondary schools.
One good idea is that Guyana’s tailors and tailor shops are reducing, and the Ministry should encourage students to become tailors by sending them off to the Guyana Defence Force, Police Force and Prison Service tailor shops.
This certainly will see our country with young tailors and more businesses added to our economy.
Yours Co-operatively,
Parmanand Ram
