Dear Editor,
If what has been carried in Guyana Chronicle, “Paying the right price…some Pradoville homeowners contacting SARA in a bid to settle’’, is indeed authentic, then the lies and numerous dishonest attempts of the opposition People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C), of accusing the government of witch hunting their former senior potentates, with the political motive brand attached are absolutely LIES!
Editor, those former officials who are reported to have been visiting SARA office recently, with the view of settling their individual matters are intelligent enough to know the following: That they had broken the law, which meant that their transactions entered into with their former administration have been illegal, and that it makes them liable for prosecution.
Indeed, it is coming to crunch time and nobody wants to be embarrassed, despite all the shameless narrative bleating by Bharrat Jagdeo ever so often about the nature of the charges, and of their validity.
This turn of events, even if it did not take place, has further vindicated the audit, and the subsequent law enforcement investigations that would have followed.
By their own actions, these PPP/C members have admitted culpability.
Regards
Dillon Goring
