Dear Editor,
Recently, I saw a full page ad in the newspaper which was headlined something to the effect of AFC successes in Government over the past three years.
I am confused because I voted for a Coalition Government and the successes of which I am quite aware, cannot and should not be matriculated as coming from AFC or APNU or whichever. It was a collective effort so no one party must assume that what has come about is as a result of the management skills of the their specific party (AFC).
Is this is a hint that the AFC is claiming to be the power house within the Government Scheme so that the party may be seen as a force to be reckoned with if and when they do decide to Go It Alone?
That being said, maybe the AFC should publish the number of votes, which they actually brought to the power basket in which they so comfortably sit.
Yours,
Michelle Cumberbatch
