Bandit shot after picking on wrong customer
On Wednesday night, a bandit picked on the wrong man at a city eating spot.
According to information, the incident occurred at the Seiko Restaurant in Kitty.
A customer was reportedly waiting at the counter when an armed bandit appeared and tried to rob him.
In video footage obtained by Kaieteur News, the gunman was seen involved in a scuffle with the customer who was sitting at the counter.
From the grainy video, it appeared that the customer also pulled out a firearm and shots were fired in the direction of the bandit who quickly turned and ran away. It also appeared that the bandit was shot.
The matter was reported to the police and is currently being investigated.
