DEAR EDITOR,
I refer to a letter in yesterday’s Kaieteur News written by Mr. Doodnauth Jagmohan captioned “There are Dictators in the AFC”. In this letter, the writer accuses a senior Minister of firing independent Directors from the Board of NCN because they were recommending the dismissal of the GM at that entity.
He also accuses the same Minister of reinstating a NCN branch Manager who was suspended for 10 months and sent home for falsifying records.
He also seems to be saying that it is his opinion that in General the AFC Ministers are operating a mop-up corrupt operation, since it is most unlikely that they can be reelected given their traditional voter base and their current lack of support therefrom. The accusation that they are very dictatorial has been made before.
I would like to give Mr. Jagmohan 100 marks out of 100, since his perceptions are excellent.
In closing, there must have been some mistake which seemed not to have been made in dealing with Exxon, but I am at a loss to say what it could have been!
Yours faithfully,
Tony Vieira
