Meditron is not a pharmaceutical importer
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I have noted the award of contract for the supply of pharmaceuticals to Meditron Inc. to the value of $469M.
As far as I am aware, Meditron Inc. is a medical devices importer and is not licensed to import pharmaceuticals, which is a pre-requisite to register and import pharmaceuticals into Guyana.
I hope Minister of State, Mr. Joseph Harmon and Mr. Marlan Cole will shed some light on this matter.
