Agri. Ministry/MMA please help Cotton Tree Village
Dear Editor,
We the farmers of the Cotton Tree Village are pleading with authorities to put a stop to the destruction that is occurring at the Cotton Tree back dam. The entire place is being destroyed by one man who seems to be very powerful and well connected.
He is digging out all the land and destroying the entire place. He sells the land as sand on the road. Unfortunately, he has destroyed most of the access dams and they are now eroding. We cannot access some of our farming areas and some of the main dams have now become dangerous to drive on because he has dug out the sides, leaving trenches all over the place.
He beats up anyone or threatens us if we try to take action. We are asking for the relevant authorities to come to the back dam and see the destruction. Please save our livelihood and let him repair the damage that he has already done.
