A 61-year-old security guard was found dead in his home early yesterday morning, after he reportedly had not been heard from for some 48 hours. The dead man was identified as Tamraadhouj Ramcharran, of Richmond, Essequibo Coast.
According to information reaching this publication, Ramcharran was last seen Wednesday, and had appeared to be in good health. Ramcharran’s body was discovered yesterday around 06:00h by neighbours, after he had reportedly missed the shift at his security outpost. Contact was immediately made with Anna Regina Police Station. Crime scene investigators found no marks of violence on the body. The body was taken to the Suddie Public Hospital mortuary and is presently awaiting a post mortem examination.
