Gunmen struck at a second E-networks Inc. outlet in two days, escaping in a car after invading a facility at Lot 15 Cornelia Ida, West Coat Demerara at around 11.45 hrs yesterday.
A release stated that the gunmen, on entering, ordered two cashiers and seven customers to lie on the ground before tying their hands with plastic cuffs and relieving them of their valuables.
The robbers escaped in a car without firing any shots. No one was injured.
A release stated that ranks have processed the scene and are making diligent efforts to apprehend the suspects, whose modus operandi is likened to that of the previous day’s robbery at the Company’s chain store at Mon Repos Mall, East Coast Demerara.
At around 15.00hrs on Wednesday, two bandits, armed with a handgun, rushed into the E-Networks Store which is housed in the lower flat of the Mon Repos Mall.
After ordering staff and customers to lie on the floor, they relieved two sales representatives and three customers of their cash and electronic gadgets. The bandits then fled in a waiting car.
