Anyone who is familiar with Guyana’s judicial system is likely to have heard the name, if not actually come into contact with Stanley Moore, Senior Counsel.
Moore, a retired Caribbean Judge and former Home Affairs Minister celebrated his 82nd birthday on Saturday during a lavish celebration hosted by his wife Cheryl Pickering Moore, former Guyana Defense Force Officer and Airline Pilot.
The event which was held at the residence of Percy Boyce was attended by President of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ), the Honorable Justice Dennis Byron; Minister within the Ministry of Social Protection, Keith Scott; and Senior Counsel Rex McKay and Neil Boston.
Other attendees who were present to mark the milestone occasion were Magistrate Alex Moore, son of Stanley Moore; Former Prime Minister Hamilton Green; Head of the Guyana Water Incorporated, Mr. Richard Van West Charles; Head of Go-Invest, Owen Verwey and Attorney-at-Law Glendon Greenidge among others. Moore’s legacy is not one of only hard work but dedication to this noble profession.
