– Woman among three arrested
The police are investigating the murder of a man, who was reportedly beaten to death after staring at three people having sex on Third Avenue Beach, Bartica, yesterday.
The incident occurred between 04:00-08:00 hrs. The victim has only been identified by the alias “Radika”. He died while receiving treatment at the Bartica Hospital.Up to press time the police were trying to determine the victim’s identity.
A female is among three people in police custody.According to information received, the victim was asked to remove from the beach by the suspects who were reportedly involved in a “threesome” but he refused and continued staring.
As result of this, he was given a severe beaten. An eyewitness summoned ranks to the scene where the suspects were arrested and the victim was rushed to the hospital in an unconscious state.
He died while receiving treatment.The body of “Radika” is at the hospital’s mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.
