Combined Team triumph at STSC softball
The Combined Team defeated the Rest Team when the South Turkeyen Sports Committee hosted its softball competition recently at D’urban Park.
Batting first the Combined Team managed 89-6 in six overs, while Rest Team responded with 71-8.
The Rest Team overcame the Combined Team 2-1 in the football final, while Desmond McKenzie won the dominoes competition that was played at Bechie’s Bar.
Trophies and medals that were presented to the winners were donated by NSC, MSC, P and P Insurance, Tent City, Trophy Stall, Zaman Ali, Kien Phillips and Roysdale Forde.
