Yesterday, dem boy run a story that expose de dishonesty and skullduggery involving Jagdeo and Brassington. De prize was Duke Lodge and when people get to realize how it land in Gerry Gouveia hand dem start to talk.

Dem boys hear Steve ask Jagdeo fuh $19 million to fix de place so GECOM can have a permanent headquarters.
Jagdeo chase him and tell him to pay rent which was much, much more than de $19 million wha Steve ask for. That baffle everybody and to this day Steve don’t want talk bout it.
Wha he didn’t know was that Jagdeo, that scamp, and Brassington, de fat crook, had already decide who will be de owner of de building.
De first step dem tek was to put Gouveia as a director on de Board. De second thing dem do was to spend $100 million to repair de building which GECOM would rebuild fuh $19 million. Plus dem fix de swimming pool.
After dem do that dem sit down and plan de sale. And that is how it land in Gouveia hand. Was a secret. Nobody didn’t know Gouveia was a sitting director on de Board at de time de decision was being made. De same board discuss it and Gouveia sit down in de thick of things.
To this day nobody don’t know de real price ee pay fuh Duke Lodge but he seh is $140 million.
Dem boys seh do de Maths. If Govt spend $100 million to fix up and repair de place then sell it fuh $140 million then de man really get de place fuh $40 million, plain and simple.
Is de same ploy dem use wid de building next door. Gouveia was on de Board again. He get de place although he bid $43 million. Other people bid far higher than that and dem didn’t de place.
Some of dem didn’t get an acknowledgement letter whether dem win. Lose or draw.
All dem hear was de other building gone to Gouveia.
Dem boys seh this is de modus operandi – Jagdeo style of rewarding his friends and ee families. Remember de Sanata Complex and ee best friend Babbie? He and Brassington never advertise de sale of that complex. What dem advertise was de old toilets and all dem scrap iron in de compound fuh sale.
Jagdeo seh he didn’t get no bid but that he friend Babbie put up a proposal. Everybody know Babbie get de place and dem don’t know if any money pass.
