A mother, desperate to find her 24-year-old son, is offering a reward to anyone who may have
information about his whereabouts.
Jomel Thomas, a juice vendor of Lot 449 West Ruimveldt Housing Scheme disappeared on May, 17, last. He has not been seen or heard from since.
The young man, who sold local juices at Rasville, Georgetown (on the back road) was last seen wearing a pair of three-quarter white pants, white T-shirt with blue stripes and black slippers. His hair is braided.
His mother, Jeanann Johnson, said that she was informed that when her son went out to ply his trade, he called his father shortly after and informed him that his juice was finished. Thomas then requested more juices.
Later in the afternoon, when his father went to pick him up, Thomas was nowhere to be seen. A man who was in the area informed the 24-year-old relatives that he (Thomas) had borrowed his bicycle and never returned.
A report was made with the police. Johnson said she is prepared to offer a special reward for anyone who may have information about her son.
Anyone with information can contact the family on 223-3215, 621-1327 and 673-1292 or the nearest police station.
