Is one thing when you deh in opposition but is another thing when you deh in government. When Soulja Bai and he party was in opposition dem boys hear all kind of promise. One promise dem would never forget is how all dem contracts gun be made public.
That come about because when de government enter into some deal wid nuff people and dem boys ask fuh see de contract, Brassington use to tell dem how de contract is secret. Dem boys want to know how people can tek you money fuh do something and don’t tell you wha dem doing?
It happen wid de Skeldon sugar factory wha de government got to sell as scrap iron./ It happen wid de airport expansion programme wha Soulja Bai government had to change. It happen wid de hydro road wha Jagdeo announce fuh one price and wha cost seven times more.
Then dem got de Marriott. Jagdeo and Brassington enter into all kind of contract. To this day dem boys don’t know who spend wha and who own wha.
Now that he in government and he promise to release all dem shady contract, dem boys still can’t get none. Li’l Joe mekking excuse. He telling people to talk to Jurdon who telling people is not he business that dem must talk to Li’l Joe.
Dem boys seh that dem never believe that people gun tek dem eyes and pass Soulja Bai. He tell he people to do one thing and dem doing something else. In fact, dem ignoring him. That is why Jagdeo laughing. And he ain’t gun stop because he lef dem in a pickle to pay a whole lot of money.
Dem already pay Rudisa, dem pay couple other people and now dem got to repair de Marriott because de Chinee people really build a chariot.
Talk half and help stop this eye pass.
