The absence of proper role models is having an impact on the society. The police are going to detain three schoolboys who have assembled at a popular spot in their community because one of them would be seen threatening an older person.
A search would reveal offensive weapons on all of them, suggesting that they may be a gang. They would be emulating some older boys in the community.
**
Despite all the warnings, the police would be left stunned when they receive the news that a vehicular accident would be caused by a drag racing group of young men. The vehicle would collide with an approaching van, resulting in serious injuries to the occupants of both vehicles.
**
Another river accident would occur because of poor maintenance of a vessel. This boat would strike an object and would spring a leak even as it is ferrying people.
Fortunately, others in the neighbourhood would be there to effect the rescue.
