Can Mr. Heath-Retemyer answer this question for me, please?
Dear Editor,
Over the last two days, I read two letters in your newspaper in which persons were trying to justify the appointment of Mr. Aubrey Heath-Retemyer as head of SARU. I was amazed because while these persons tried to justify the appointment, all they could come up with is that he is a Christian and spent the last several years teaching Maths in some school in New York. Prior to that he was an engineer in the GDF.
I failed to see what qualifications and or experience were presented to justify this appointment and had to agree with the leader of the opposition in that this appears to be another appointment of Granger’s old friend from the GDF. If someone or Mr. Heath-Retemyer has good reason why or how he was appointed to this position, I would be happy to hear this and to congratulate him on the appointment. Otherwise, I have to believe that if is a position for one of the boys.
