Gregory Reynolds, 56, was yesterday remanded to prison by City Magistrate Annette Singh on a threatening language charge.
The charge stated that on March 15 at Bourda Outpost, Reynolds, used abusive language towards Woman Corporal Bruce.
According to information, Reynolds went to the outpost, and while speaking with Corporal Bruce, she turned her back to converse with Corporal Moore when the defendant struck her in the back with a phone card and used a series of abusive language towards her.
The court heard that another charge is forthcoming for disorderly behaviour in a Police Station and more charges are to follow as Reynolds threatened to kill City Police Corporal Baveghems as he was leaving the courtroom yesterday.
Bail was denied and Reynolds was remanded to prison, he will make his next court appearance on April 4.
