Ryan Singh was yesterday remanded to prison after he appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts charged with killing Adrian Duncan called Timehri Man.
The charge read that on February 2 at Alexander Street, Georgetown, he murdered Duncan. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
According to the facts on the day in question the accused was operating a stall in the said area when he observed the now deceased feeling his pocket. When he made check he realized that his chain and shade were missing so he confronted the vagrant who picked up a piece of wood.
The accused then armed himself with a knife and dealt the vagrant a stab to the neck and armpit. The latter was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
