The banned Khemraj Rai was close to the PPP
Dear Editor,
It is very interesting to read in other sections of the media that the IDB has banned persons and companies for a number of years for wrongdoing. Banned is Mr. Khemraj Rai who was very close to the PPP/Civic administration and headed a number of Government Agencies. A Google search shows that he sued your paper for $100 M in 2013 over the same matter. Did you have to settle with him? I just hope the IDB will also investigate the GPL tender award to CMC with the same thoroughness. It just seems that corruption is prevalent, whichever Government is in power.
