Another accolade for Dr. Yesu Persaud
Dr. Yesu Persaud was Wednesday evening honoured by the West Indian Rum and 
Spirits Producers’ Association Inc (WIRSPA) at the Georgetown Marriott Hotel.
Chairman of WIRSPA, Frank Ward, presented Dr. Persaud with a token of appreciation. Dr. Persaud, the retired Chairman of Demerara Distillers Limited, was recognised for his sterling contributions over the decades as a serving member of WIRSPA and a former Chairman of the regional body.
DDL was one of the founding members of WIRSPA which was established in the 1960s. It is also one of the most acclaimed private sector organisations in the region.
