Dear Editor,
The United Republican Party congratulates and felicitates the President Elect of the USA following the general elections held last Tuesday. It was a hard fought election and candidate Donald Trump was an example for the party and the American nation. In spite of all thrown at him, Mr Trump has shown the mettle he is made of. He has overcome all predictions showing him losing to Democrat Hillary Clinton, earning a well deserved, magnificent victory. He has called for healing and national unity saying he will be President for all. In so doing, He has earned our respect and gratitude. The URP wishes him a long life and all the best in his plan for the country. The URP pledges its support to and cooperation with President elect Donald Trump to help him successfully implement his programs and policies.
Dr Vishnu Bandhu
Leader/URP of Guyana
