Lions Club of Bel Air will be staging a ‘Clash of the Champions’ Domino Tournament on Sunday, October 30, at the Lions Den in Bel Air.
According to a release from the Club, a number of teams affiliated to the Georgetown Dominoes Association, corporate community and the Lions have been invited to participate in the competition which commences at 12:00 hrs.
The release added that the tournament is being held in collaboration with the GDA and has the blessings of President of the entity Faye Joseph.
Registration forms could be picked up at the following locations, Ray’s One Stop Auto Spares, Ramchand’s Spare Parts and Faye Joseph’s residence at 1223 Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt.
The winning team is set to receive $100,000 and a trophy, while second and third placed finishers take home $60,000 and $40,000 respectively.
The Most Valuable Player of the Tournament will receive a trophy.
Entrance fee is $9,000 per team.
