-as ‘Juicy Juice’ back to school promotion ends
“Unmatched” is how Chief Executive Officer of Sueria Manufacturing Inc., Frank Sanichara, described ‘Juicy Juice’ – an all-natural fruit beverage that the company introduced to the local market about one year ago.

Sueria Manufacturing Inc. CEO, Frank Sanichara, takes time out for a photo with some of the winners.
Speaking at his company’s Industrial Site location yesterday, Sanichara asserted that on the local market “there are not many juice boxes that have 100 per cent juice…That is the difference. There is a difference between a fruit juice and a fruit drink…what we have here is a fruit juice.”
Sanichara made it clear that consumers can easily ascertain the difference by checking their labels.
His remarks were made yesterday as the company brought down the curtains on a ‘Juicy Juice’ back to school promotion. The promotion targeted school children and twenty of them were able to walk away with tablets expected to aid with their school work.
During the Christmas season last year, the company held a similar promotion.
Becoming eligible to be a part of the promotion this year was as simple as customers purchasing ‘Juicy Juice’ from participating supermarkets countrywide, filling up a coupon and placing it in a designated box, according to Sanichara.
The winners were selected during a drawing by Sueria’s Brand/Marketing Manager, Ali Williams. According to Williams, “Our winners came from Georgetown, East Coast, East Bank…We had a good mix of persons purchasing ‘Juicy Juice’.”
Sueria Manufacturing Inc. manufactures a wide range of confectionary items such as hard candies, lollipops, plantain chips, peanuts, biscuits and natural fruit snacks. It is also the exclusive distributor in Guyana for a wide range of beverages including: Tropical Delight, Daily’s Cocktails.
Williams also disclosed yesterday that customers can expect more exciting promotions in the future.
The Brand Manager revealed that customers can look forward to winning a trip to a tropical destination by purchasing the Tropical Delight beverage. Added to this, she said that “We are working currently with the Kaieteur Candy brand where a lucky customer could win a trip to Disney Land.”
“All you have to do is purchase our products, take a coupon, fill it up with the relevant information and deposit it into our coupon box and you have a chance to win during the drawing,” explained Williams.
Sueria Manufacturing Inc. has also been collaborating with Ansa McAl with the aim of offering customers reduced prices on Daily’s Cocktail and Skyy Vodka.
But according to Sanichara, “Juicy Juice is one of the products geared towards the kids market…The youths are actually the future of the country so we feel it is our corporate obligation to give back to the youths.”
As part of its efforts to give back to the community, Sueria Manufacturing Inc. recently sponsored a youth cricket competition in Berbice and has also donated to orphanages and the Red Cross.
