Police are hunting for the son of Shurland Mohan, who allegedly chopped a father of four to death at a backdam in Port Kaituma, Region one, two Fridays ago.
On Wednesday, Mohan, a father of six, of Albouystown, Georgetown, was charged for the murder of dredge owner Ryan English, while his (Mohan’s) son continues to elude the cops. The accused was represented by Attorney Sonia Parag.
Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan transferred the matter to the Matthew’s Ridge Magistrate’s Court for October 31
Both father and son are accused of murdering English.
Police believe that the younger Mohan might still be hiding in the interior location to avoid capture, hence ranks in ‘F’ Division are being told to be vigilant.
