Dear Editor,
I live in Phase 1, Parfait Harmony, WBD. Please highlight the following concerns so that some relevant personnel/authority may do something positive:
1. Huge amount of over grown bushes can be seen on empty lands. They take over the road and trenches and grow over people’s fences (my fence too). Recently the trenches/drains were cleaned which is very good but something needs to be done about all these bushes.
2. The area has no police station but an abundance of thieves, we all know this; it is a nightmare. We can’t leave our houses unattended.
3. Not much street lights so the thieves get to escape easily. Reporting theft to La Grange police station is a waste of time since it seems like they never catch the thieves. I made a report there and it was a waste of time.
Editor, many thanks to you for publishing my letter. I am hoping for some positive actions.

Hard Truths by GHK Lall (Kaieteur News) I think that CCJ President, Dr. Winston Anderson, has only one option. My recommendation is that he tenders.
