Sep 06, 2016 Letters
Dear Editor,
K N of Sept 04, 2016 published a letter purportedly written by one Imari Khanisi titled ‘ Hamilton Green did not support import substitution’, before making this ludicrous statement he, or she launched an assault on my character, clearly intended to hurt me and my family.
Years ago there was a song ‘ You always hurt the one you Love’ The writer must be in love with me I am flattered by this calumny and total falsehood. For brevity allow me to state as follows:-First just about every Guyanese family has family members living overseas, however in my case close members of my family were not made to feel welcomed by the previous administration. But the massive deception is when the letter states that I did not support import substitution let the author of this absurdity present the evidence. None exist .If he or she fails to do so, I hope some sense of decency would force an apology.
