Guyana Cup horserace fans asked to note bridge closing time
Fans attending tomorrow’s Guyana Cup horserace meeting at the Port Mourant Turf Club must take note of the closing time of the Berbice River Bridge, that’s the word of Organiser Nazrudeen ‘Jumbo Jet’ Mohammed Jnr.
He warned horseracing fans heading to the event to ensure that they monitor the closing time of the bridge to ensure they do not miss out on any of the action.
Mohammed Jnr. Disclosed that according to advice from the bridge’s management, the bridge will close between the hours of 1:30pm to 3:00pm. Turfites attending the Guyana Cup must ensure they cross the facility before the scheduled 1:30pm closing or they will have to wait until after 3:00pm and will miss a big part of the action.
Horse owners and all others concerned with tomorrow’s race programme are also asked to take note.
