During yesterday’s bid opening at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), Ministry of Finance, tenders under the Ministry of Education, Department of Culture, Youth and Sport were unveiled for projects aimed at restoring national landmarks.
One such project was for the restoration of the Hog Island windmill on the Essequibo River. The engineer’s estimate was $11.8M.
