He didn’t think about celebrating he freedom; he didn’t even think about he grandparents who use to slave.
And while some people celebrating some was punishing. Dem buy dem plane ticket long now because de airline advertise cheap flight. But old people always seh cheap nah good and good nah cheap. De plane tekking more than two days to travel from de States to Guyana.
Eastern Airline got people sleeping fuh days at all dem airline. People tek floor mek bed at Timehri. In New York it was even wuss because is nuff people there.
Florida was de same thing. People wid baby suddenly find out what is punishment and all because dem biy cheap plane ticket.
One man get so vex that eh cuff de plane window and break it. He in a jail in Trinidad. De same money wha he think he save pun a plane ticket is de same money he got to spend fuh a lawyer and then he got to spend two times that amount in fine.
Some scouts seh that dem never coming back to Guyana because of dem airline wid dem cheap flight and is three of dem.
