Complaints about police conduct in Alberttown

Dear Editor,
I write about the frequent visitations by police ranks from Alberttown Police Station, to a selected few young male residents (ambitious and law abiding) at the behest of a female subordinate officer, who has since been transferred to Brickdam. This is primarily due to the fact that her female friend who resides in Sixth Street, between Light Street and Cummings Street, frequents the station with complaints. Be it an “accidental glass of water” slipping from someone’s grasp; a carpenter operating an electrical tool next door; or a vehicle parked on the City Council’s parapet (reserve), which incidentally is the worst maintained in the entire street. In all of the afore-mentioned instances, a police rank pays a visit. And to “crown it off” this friend normally utilizes her tablet to video the non-issues. In at least three instances, three young industrious men have been placed before the Courts.
Editor, I do think the time is ripe for all the relevant complaints made by the individual and the S.0, who from all indications is usurping her authority, to be investigated. Is it proper policing for a vanload of police ranks to visit a residence, demand entry based on a report of a tradesman at work? Is this legal? Why was there no police visitation at the office of a prominent Albertown auto-dealer, when piles were being driven behind his office, late in evening/nights? Or, is this within the ambits of the M&CC? Nevertheless,
it was a noise nuisance, but “monkey know which limb to jump on. Speaking of the M&CC, is there a Health and Sanitization Department functioning effectively? If so, kindly have a senior personnel visit Sixth Street, Alberttown, between Light and Cummings Street, around 19:30 hrs. whereby much to the discomfort of residents, a “garbage truck” is parked there on a nightly basis. Apart from the emanating scent, is this permissible in accordance with the City’s bylaws? Is this the promotion of “a clean and healthy environment”?
