Courts Guyana Inc., who are no strangers to 10km Road Races in Guyana, will be partnering with the CARICOM Secretariat, Ministry of Education – Department of Culture, Youth and Sport and the Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) to host the 12th Annual CARICOM 10km Road Race on Sunday.
The race begins at CARICOM Secretariat at 6am and ends in the National Park.
The race coincides with the Meeting of the Heads of Government Conference as has been the established practice. The race will be held under the theme: “Promoting Peaceful and Healthy Societies” and Courts, in keeping with its commitment to the continuous promotion of healthy lifestyles, is happy to be associated with another mega 10km Road Race.
A release from Courts stated that the race promises to be a very exciting one with great cash prizes, trophies and medals up for grabs. In addition to the main event, it will feature athletes from schools and clubs.
“Courts is proud to associated with the CARCOM10km race with a contribution of $500,000 as the brand endeavours to take the healthy living campaign Caribbean-wide and further afield,” the release said.
Courts Guyana Inc. took the opportunity to invite members of the public to be a part of the event on Sunday.
