The Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) was pleased to offer assistance to Mr. Clive Atwell, the popular Guyana boxer that requires a brain surgery. This will be undertaken in Trinidad, the body said in a release.
Mr. Atwell suffered a brain injury during a title fight and requires surgery urgently. During his boxing career, Mr. Atwell held several titles for Guyana including the best boxer award in Guyana.
The CIOG is requesting anyone who wishes to assist Mr. Atwell to please make contact with him at (592) 642-9961. He is desperate for financial assistance to undertake the surgery. We pray that the Almighty restore Mr. Atwell to good health, the CIOG stated.
