New Doctors Clinic (NDC) defeated Rebels by three wickets to capture the Everest Cricket Club/Trophy Stall six-a-side 5-over softball tournament which was contested on Sunday.
Rebels took first strike and managed 74-2 off their allotted overs. New Doctors Clinic responded with 75-2 in 4.2 overs with Alex Culley scoring 40.
NDC overcame Everest CC by two wickets in their encounter played earlier. Everest scored 76-2 taking first knock with Dwayne Adams getting 47. NDC replied with 79-3. Culley got 48 not out.
Rebels tasted success in the opening encounter beating NDC by 18 runs. Batting first, Rebels got to 62-2. Yash Ramsaywak and Mohan Balram made 22 and 20 respectively. Despite not losing a wicket NDC were limited to 44 in response. Satyandra Khemraj made 25.
