Woodland SC when the Trinidad and Tobago South Championship three-day league continued recently.
Though Blyden batted fluently, he received little support as Evergreen lost their last five wickets for nine runs to be bowled out for 184 in reply to Woodland SC first innings score of 290.
Woodland’s Neive McNally of Jamaica took 5 for 46 while his countryman Bryan Gayle claimed 4 for 46. Ato Rockcliffe was the only other batsman for Evergreen that showed resistance with 43.
Woodland SC were bowled out for 191 in their second turn at the crease as the game ended in a draw. The Jamaican duo of Gayle and McNally delivered yet again scoring 55 and 47 respectively. The pick of the bowlers for Evergreen were Aden Sookraj who took 3 for 17, Alvin Ramlogan with 2 for 37 and Dominic Nandlal 2 for 36.
Evergreen and Diamond United are joint top of the table on 120 points. The competition continues this weekend.
