DCUSA names committees
The Demerara Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (DCUSA) has named its respective committees at a
Nigel Duguid
statutory meeting held on Thursday night at Union Building, Woolford Avenue.
Nigel Duguid was elected chairman of the Training and Examination committee which includes Matthew Kissoon, Colin Alfred, Ava Baker, Nandkumar Shivsankar, Eddie Nicholls and Yosef Yisrael.
The Disciplinary Committee is headed by Grantley Culbard and consists of Alfred and Randolph Rose while Joseph Jeffery will spearhead the Selection committee which is made of Nicholls, Javed Persaud and Duguid.
Arleigh Rutherford has been chosen to lead the Fund Raising and Entertainment Committee. Other members are Andre Horry, Dion Feassal, Baker, Rayana Warde, Eon Washington, Trevor Whitney, Chaitnarine Persaud, Javed Persaud, Ryan Banwarie, Duguid and Zaheer Mohamed.
The DCUSA along with the Georgetown Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association will commence its training classes in June. Both male and females are encouraged to attend.
