Guyana is at the crossroads and anything can happen. The conditions are there for a jailbreak. The only deterrent are the guns that are lined up outside. However, there will be an attempt because of the taste of freedom that the prisoners enjoyed on the inside.
A return to prison conditions will play on the mind of some of the prisoners and the nation will be provided with something to talk about.

The guns are out on the streets and in restless hands they will be tested in the hands of some young men with a lot of bravado. They will be confronted by the police.
Another group will be taken on by a homeowner. One of them will be wounded and will be picked up later.

There will be another road fatality along the eastern corridor. An intoxicated driver will lose control and cause a collision even as he attempts to overtake a slower moving vehicle.
